In 1993 Nanny from Denmark felted a pair of boots for the first time, and the wool came from her own Gotland sheep. The felted boots were well received among friends and family, so well, that Nanny started a small hobby production. This paved the way for the company glerups.  glerups shoes, slippers and boots are known for their exceptional comfort and unique design. 

Over the years we have perfected the wool mix by blending Gotland wool with quality wool from New Zealand farmers.
